Strategic Account Services Manager

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Account Services Manager to join our team in our Boca Raton, Florida office.The Strategic Account Services Manager will report directly to the Chief Client Officer and this position will be responsible for the consistent growth of existing client relationships and securing new projects within MIG’s scope of offerings.Role & Responsibilities:Contact clients on regular basis to develop, report, and obtain opportunities to present MIG capabilities and receive RFP’s or projects to bid or quote.In depth research of client’s business, including understanding client industry, financial status, strategic plans, brand focus, and short term and long-term client company objectives and vision.Qualify sales opportunities to insure MIG offerings are applicable, and that client has genuine interest and financial ability to implement MIG services.Carefully attempt to ascertain client intent and prejudices or favoritism regarding other suppliers, including incumbents.Familiarize and continually improve knowledge of all facets of MIG business offerings and history, our industry and latest techniques and technologies deployed to create amazing events.Follow and comply with MIG administrative processes to include opportunities in the MIG proposal and project flow.Prepare project input/prep form with adequate information as required by proposal, production and technical teams and provide timely updates and requests for support needs (presentation or pitch materials, budgets, renders) as opportunity progresses.Review and proofread MIG proposal before delivery for final approval and accountability, then present or deliver MIG proposals and follow up to close business.Continuously communicate with project team during and after proposal delivery.Schedule MIG and client teams for input calls, meetings, rehearsals, capabilities, and project presentations, MIG tours, site surveys, and opportunity debriefs etc.Interact and follow up with client event results including show site attendance, while adhering to show site guidelines.Be a good steward of company resources including arranging travel in advance to minimize these sizeable expenses.Maintain adequate margins as outlined in the assigned sales compensation plan.Prepare Letters of Authorization, deposit invoices and final invoices with collaboration of Technical Directors and Producers.Prepare and follow up on outstanding invoices to insure prompt payment.Knowledge:Marketing — Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling MIG products and MIG services. This includes MIG marketing strategy and tactics, any capability demonstrations, and sales techniques.Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes being able to be the main customer service contact for the client.Skills:Effective Communication — Talking to others to convey information effectively.Active Listening — Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.Negotiation — Bringing others together and trying to reconcile differences.
