Symrise – always inspiring more… Your role Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including complying with OSHA, state/local, federal, and company regulations Maintains a clean and orderly environment Properly cleans and maintains multiple areas as assigned Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel Frequently removes dusts and debris from high and low surfaces Completes any daily paperwork required Cleaning the restrooms, Kitchenette, Canteen and office areas by sweeping, mopping and dusting Industrial Cleaning to include high dusting, and cleaning outside decks Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager and Lead. Report any issues to the Lead and Manager. About you High school diploma/GED (preferred) Two plus years of janitorial experience Strong attention to detail Flexible, and willing to take on non-routine cleaning and special projects as the need arises The ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time, lift up to 20 pounds and the ability to climb stairs as needed are required. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen Ability to work well with others and with minimal supervision Willing to work early morning or late night shifts Able to use basic cleaning equipment and safely work with a variety of cleaning supplies Our offer Become part of our open and transparent culture.
