Quality Control Technician I (2nd Shift)

The Quality Control Technician I is responsible for ensuring that the organization’s Quality Management System policies, procedures, forms, and instructions are followed. This position will be directly responsible for ensuring that product quality is maintained and regulatory requirements are followed. This position will also be responsible for safety and for documenting any incidents as required by company, federal, state, and local regulations.Duties & ResponsibilitiesEnsure the organization’s procedures, forms, instructions, and policies are followed by all staffInspect and document incoming production components, including tubes, bottles, film, and syringe componentsConduct in-process testing during manufacturing, including fill volume, seal integrity, labeling, and visual inspections.Conduct release testing of finished goods and sourced finished goods by following written proceduresCollect samples for outsourced testingPrint, review and approve labels for productionInitiate nonconformances when product defects are found or deviations occurEnsure all GMPs are followedPerform facility inspections and maintain quality department equipmentPromote an environment of quality first mindsetQualities Attention to detailAbility to make quick decisionsExperience using tools such as calipers and micrometersDependable and timely to workEnergetic team player with a pleasant demeanorConstant pursuit of qualityAble to work in teams and interact positively with staffClear understanding of the impacts of quality controlUnderstanding of OSHA and manufacturing safetyCompetent in MS Office products and computersStrong communication skillsAble to lift up to 50lbsSchedule: Monday - Friday, 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm + overtime as neededQualificationsQualificationsHigh School Diploma requiredUnderstanding of regulated industry and GMPs (FDA, ISO:13485, MDSAP) preferredHR HealthCare is a professionally managed, family-owned business nestled in the heart of York, PA.
