These associates prepare customer orders, process, maintain restaurant and kitchen cleanliness, and provide outstanding service to our guests.Primary ResponsibilitiesGreet all customers and answer questionsProvide guests with exceptional serviceSuggestive sell product according to company policiesAccurately prepare deli food and specialty beverage ordersProactively address customer concerns and resolve issuesChop, dice, slice, mix, and otherwise prepare ingredients, often with sharp cutting instrumentsCount and weigh product; calculate basic math involving decimals and fractionsVisually identify unsatisfactory food product and remove it from serviceFollow mandatory logging procedures, including but not limited to time/temperature and inventory documentationClean and maintain equipment, wares, and utensils according to safety regulations and company policiesMaintain coolers, dry storage, kitchen, and prep areas in a clean and organized fashionMaintain site appearance standards, including basic housekeeping and cleaning tasksConsistently uphold all health and safety standardsComply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulationsOther duties as requiredEducation and ExperienceEntry level position- no experience requiredHigh School Diploma or GED preferredBasic Qualifications & Physical Requirements18+ years of ageReliable transportationOutgoing and friendly demeanorExcellent communication in English (hear, speak, read, & write)Safely lift 55 lbs. and carry short distancesStand and walk for 8+ consecutive hoursClimb a step stool, reach with arms above head, grasp with hands, bend, and crouchCorrectly perform functions using a touch-screen kiosk, tablet, and kitchen ordering systemOccasionally work in very cold temperatures, such as when stocking freezersWeekend and holiday availabilityAbility to multi-task with accuracy in a fast-paced environment
