OPTI STAFFING GROUP IS HIRINGOpening: Mortgage Servicing SpecialistLocation: Anchorage, AK Pay: $26.00 to $27.00COMPANY INFO:We are seeking a detail oriented Mortgage Servicing Specialist to support servicing operations for a large Alaska based financial organization. This temp-to-perm position works closely with loan servicers, internal departments, insurance providers, title companies, and legal partners to ensure servicing activities meet investor and regulatory requirements.Reporting to the Servicing Officer, this role requires the ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and maintaining a high level of accuracy when reviewing and processing mortgage servicing actions.WHAT YOU’LL DO:Provide administrative and operational support to the servicing departmentInput and maintain daily loan servicing activity and documentationMonitor workflow and track assigned servicing tasks to ensure timely completionReview and analyze servicer recommended actions and approve or deny within established guidelinesPrepare legally binding servicing documents for internal approvalCommunicate with internal teams and outside servicing partners regarding loan activity and requirementsAnalyze information and recommend solutions related to distressed or complex loansSupport servicing compliance by ensuring investor and regulatory requirements are metMaintain accurate loan records and documentationPerform additional duties as needed to support the servicing teamREQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or equivalentAt least one year of office experience in mortgage lending, mortgage servicing, mortgage collections, or related financial services.Understanding of mortgage servicing terminology and proceduresKnowledge of mortgage default servicing and loss mitigation conceptsFamiliarity with mortgage insurance guidelines and investor reporting requirementsExperience with financial calculations and standard accounting practicesProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesStrong analytical thinking and problem solving skillsAbility to read and interpret loan documents, financial statements, and tax returnsStrong attention to detail and data accuracyAbility to interpret and apply State and Federal mortgage regulationsAbility to prioritize tasks and manage time effectivelyStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work with internal teams and external partnersBENEFITS:Competitive hourly pay based on experienceWeekly payMedical, dental, and vision insurance optionsShort term disability and life insurance options401(k) retirement plan optionsPaid sick leave in accordance with Alaska state requirementsAccess to a dedicated recruiter for ongoing support throughout your assignmentOpportunity to gain experience with a well respected Alaska financial organizationPotential for future opportunities depending on business needs and performanceNEXT STEPS: Just hit the “Apply” button above and you’re half-way home!
