We are committed to excellence and recognize the dedication it takes to do a great job.This is a local, hourly position that allows you to be home every nightSnider Fleet Solutions is hiring a Local Truck Delivery Driver to pick up and deliver customer tires and wheels using a 26' truck (up to 26,000 lbs). This is a customer-facing role that follows assigned routes and schedules. Safe driving, reliability, attention to detail, and clear communication are key to getting the job done right and keeping customers satisfied.We Offer:Paid Time Off (PTO) & Paid Holidays401(k) w/company matchMedical/Dental/Vision & Employer-Paid Life/Employer-Paid Short Term DisabilityOpportunity to develop professionally and advance within the companyTraining program: Dedicated to ensuring employees receive the training they deserveResponsibilities:Operate a 26 foot truck to deliver commercial tires, wheels, and other itemsEnsure proper loading/unloading of inventory and ensuring paperwork is correctMaintain a safe driving record, follow all safety rules/PPE requirements, and conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspectionsKeep truck clean, stocked, and maintainedSupport warehouse/service staff with tire handling and equipment useCommunicate effectively with customers and management regarding schedules, delays, violations, accidents, or breakdownsDemonstrate reliability, professionalism, and adherence to policies and proceduresQualifications:Must be at least 21 years oldAt least 1+ years of experience (preferably within the industry)Must have a clean driving recordAbility to pass backgrounds screening and insurable by company standardsCertificates and Licenses:* Valid Driver's License and must be insurable to drive by company standards* DOT Medical Certification (upon hire)Skills and AbilitiesAbility to pass background checks and drug screenDemonstrate excellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to use road maps, smart phones, and GPS devicesAbility to work effectively under pressure and time constraintsMust be able to work in a results-oriented fast-paced environmentReliable and dependable with self-initiativeWhy Join Us?
