As a profitable, independently run company, Giftogram operates without venture-capital constraints, giving employees the freedom to innovate and shape the company’s next phase of growth.Position Summary:We are seeking a Cloud Systems Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable AWS infrastructure with a strong emphasis on deployments, automation, and CI/CD. This role prioritizes enabling fast, reliable software delivery while maintaining high system availability and performance. You will work closely with development teams to streamline deployment pipelines, improve release velocity, and enforce infrastructure best practices. This role will also have you own the IT foundations (identity, devices, endpoint security) that support a growing technical team.Key Responsibilities:Design, build, and manage AWS-based Linux infrastructure for scalable application deploymentsPartner with engineering on CI/CD pipelines, deployment tooling, and developer environmentsAutomate infrastructure provisioning and application delivery using Infrastructure as CodeMaintain system reliability, monitoring, and alerting for production servicesRespond to infrastructure incidents, write clear postmortems, and drive the follow-upsAdminister our IAM, MDM and EDR platforms tuning, triage, and incident responseSupport the team with IT questions and triage vendor issues when neededMaintain clear runbooks, architecture docs, and internal documentationRequired Qualifications:3–5+ years of hands-on systems administration, DevOps, or infrastructure experienceStrong AWS experience, you've operated a real production environmentSolid Linux fundamentals, shell, system, networking, permissions, performance troubleshooting, package managementProficient with scripting and automation, you automate instead of repeating yourselfHands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code Working knowledge of networking (VPC, subnets, routing, security groups, DNS, VPN)A security mindset, least privilege, blast radius, audit trails, and "what could go wrong" are instincts, not checklistsDirect experience operating an MDM and an EDR platform in productionPreferred Qualifications (Optional):Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, ECS, EKS, Kubernetes)Exposure to compliance frameworks (SOC 2, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA)AWS certifications (SysOps, Solutions Architect, Security Specialty) are a plus but not requiredCompensation:Salary Range: $90,000 to $120,000Annual Discretionary Bonus: up to 10%What we Offer: Competitive base salary + discretionary annual performance bonus401(k) with company matchMedical, Dental, and Vision insuranceFlex PTO ProgramPaid HolidaysHigh-visibility role with direct impact on revenue and growthCollaborative, fast-moving team that values initiative and ideasA product people genuinely love sending and receivingPowered by JazzHR4DnxPz5d1u
