Channel Account Manager, Public SectorWe are looking for an energetic and self-motivated individual who is looking to continue their career within Public Sector Channel Sales. As an Channel AccountManager you will be responsbile for building and executing the channel strategy for our State, Local and Federal public sector business and be responsible for supporting the engagement between partner and Rapid7channel sales teams, along with supporting/executing on enablement activities directly. The Channel organization has a vital responsibility to drive partnership revenue and growth with our channel partners and distributors.About The RoleIn this role, you’ll drive our public sector channel to scale our partner business. You will work alongside our field sellers on campaigns and enablement activities.In This Role, You WillSupport on partner enablement activities to help drive partner generated pipeline and deliver partner sourced deals in order to achieve defined targetsFollow-up on channel account based marketing campaigns, designed in partnership between sales, channel and marketingAssist with integrated email and cold calling campaigns to generate new channel sales prospectsSupport channel partners to ensure customer health and drive renewalsDrive target partner contacts to attend marketing events and respond to our campaignBuild strong cross functional relationships internally with our sales, marketing and enablement teamsReport on demand generation, enablement, and pipeline on a regular basisMeet and exceed weekly KPI’s and deliver a high quantity of qualified channel sales opportunitiesThe Skills You’ll Bring Include7-10 years working in a public sector Channel role with proven capabilities in account development and proactive outreachTrack record of working in a target driven environment, achieving targets, tenacious and driven, with a competitive personality and thrives in a fast paced environmentPrevious experience working in Software/Saas/Security Sales is requiredPassionate about delighting customers with exceptional relationship building skillsExcited by technology, curious and eager to learn more about IT Security products and servicesA high level of resilience, with the ability to bounce back after setbacks or rejection - it’s a key part of the job which makes it such an exciting challenge!Creative, able to think independently and come up with new solutionsAmbitious, dedicated to continuous learning and personal development. We evaluate compensation decisions on a case-by-case basis, and it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the very top of the salary range.The salary range for this role in the US is:$136,400.00 - 184,600.00 USD AnnualSalary ranges may vary based on geographical location.
