During the interview process, you'll complete a skills evaluation that helps determine the appropriate level and corresponding compensation.Pay Range: $24$37 per hourAdditional Incentive: $3 per hour attendance incentive availableShift Differential: available for shifts 2nd and 3rd (see our website for other shifts)*We have multiple openings on shifts, only shifts with open positions are posted and once filled, they will be taken down.What You'll DoAs a Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a key role in keeping our operations running safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include:Installing, servicing, and repairing equipment using both personal and company-supplied toolsPerforming scheduled preventive maintenanceMoving and positioning components with hoists, dollies, and other equipmentMaintaining accurate daily work records and communicationsOrganizing tools, equipment, and suppliesKeeping your work area clean and hazard-free throughout the shiftUsing and maintaining proper safety equipmentFollowing safety, environmental, food safety, and GMP requirementsExecuting job orders and maintaining accurate documentationPerforming other duties as assignedWhat You BringMinimum Requirements1+ year of industrial maintenance experience (food manufacturing preferred)Basic to advanced industrial mechanical skillsAdditional Skills (Higher Levels & Pay)These skills can qualify you for higher-level rolesand if you don't have them, we offer training to help you grow:Experience with conveyors and gearboxesElectrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment knowledgeElectrical experience with 110V and 480V three-phaseAbility to read electrical schematicsExperience with inverters and proximity switchesWelding skills (MIG and stick; TIG training available)PLC experienceEducationHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience gained through on-the-job trainingWork EnvironmentAbility to climb, stoop, bend, kneel, crawl, and stand for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Comfortable working at heights and in confined spacesAbility to work in a non-climate-controlled environmentBenefitsThis role is eligible for overtime pay for hours worked beyond 40 hours in a week and may also be eligible for additional hourly premiums for perfect attendance and/or working evening or night shifts.
