Cannabis Packaging Tech CODES
The Packaging Tech maintains and completes daily projects assigned by the Packaging Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintains proper organization of the Packaging and Distribution rooms.
Ensures the organization and cleanliness of the Packaging department related rooms. Ensure organization and cleanliness of the immediate work area.
Performs regular cleaning and maintenance on work surfaces, tools, and related equipment (scissors, table, floors, etc.).
Contributes to instructed cleaning, sanitizing, and organization in the Processing department areas.
Contributes and shows support to associates with a safe, well maintained, and organized work area.
Follows through with cleaning and organizing SOPs after use of equipment or supplies.
Checks final packaging to ensure product leaving the facility is compliant.
Follows company instructions to ensure accuracy consistently within the role.
Follows all instructed state and federal compliance regulations.
Reports any improper action of compliance regulations.
Follows instructed procedures will maintain compliance and safety. Any compliance or safety mistake or error created must be reported to the leadership of the department.
Reports data input as instructed for METRC plant tags.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be able to obtain a state medical marijuana badge and pass a background check.
Must be able to communicate with CODES team effectively and professionally.
Must be able to perform under high pressure situations.
Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high stress situations.
Must be self-motivated.
Must have the ability to multitask.
Must have excellent organizational skills.
Must be able to stay focused.
Must have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Must have reliable transportation.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
Must be able to respond quickly to sounds.
Must be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
Must be able to see and respond to dangerous situations.
Must be able to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day.
Must be able to sit or stand for up to 12 hours at a time.
Must be able to work in bright/hot/humid conditions.
Must be able to work in low light situations.
May be subject to lifting, standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, pushing/pulling, repetitive use of hands, grasping use of hands, and visual activity.
May be exposed to limited hazardous chemicals.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
