BSC Management, a woman-owned association management and conference planning company based in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Development Manager to lead fundraising initiatives for medical associations and nonprofit research and education foundations while cultivating strategic relationships with industry partners, sponsors, and donors. Job Type: Full-time / Salaried
Location: Hybrid if Los Angeles Area Resident / Remote if not
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and execute comprehensive fundraising campaigns, driving impactful results for our client organizations.
Develop and implement dynamic marketing strategies specific to assigned clients to encourage participation and support.
Identify and raise funds from diverse donor/supporter pools.
Actively identify, establish, and foster relationships with industry, society members, and other funding partners.
Communicate and coordinate with client project managers for activities for which you will be tasked to raise funds.
Develop and oversee the clients’ development budgets.
Write and edit request proposals/grants for a breadth of client initiatives.
Work closely with client Boards to implement policy and operations.
Travel to client society meetings as needed.

Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple client tasks and deadlines.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in non-profit management, public health, business administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) is a plus.
At least 5 years of related experience in one or more of the following:
Non-profit Development
Corporate partnerships
Association Management
Healthcare or medical association relations
Demonstrated success in fundraising within the healthcare or medical fields, with measurable revenue goals and metrics achievements.
Grant writing experience
Experience working with volunteer committees or physician leaders
Proven ability to work with multiple deadlines and deliver detailed and accurate work in a client services environment
Ability to identify, qualify and engage prospective donors
Ability to learn new technologies, multi-task, maintain strong cross-functional and client relationships in a fast-paced and deadline-sensitive environment.
Budget management
Occasional travel will be required
Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Canva, Wordpress and database proficiency a plus.

Compensation Range:$90,000 - $100,000. This range is an estimate, and the actual salary will vary based on the applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity. The salary may also be adjusted based on the applicant’s geographic location.
