Collaboration with the Lead Teacher and clear communication with staff are key to success in this position.DutiesTeacher Responsibilities:Supervision and daily class functions of a group of childrenEstablish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environmentObserves all rules and regulations at Chroma Early Learning Academy and the local, state, and national agencies pertaining to the health, safety, and care of childrenSupport each child’s social and emotional development and provide positive guidanceAssess each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basisImplements the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Chroma Early Learning Academy curriculum and programmingMaintains an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidenceProvides verbal recognition and acceptance to children while providing clear and consistent expectations for the children's behaviorAccepts responsibility for maintenance and necessary housekeeping duties of the classroom, common use areas, and playgroundsAttends all staff meetings, workshops, and/or school functionsMaintains overall professional personal appearance adhering to the guidelines offered in the Chroma Early Learning Academy Employee HandbookKnowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young childrenRequirementsSatisfactory Background CheckMust be at least 18 years of ageMust have CDA, TCC, Paraprofessional Certificate, or college degree.BenefitsHealth InsuranceChild Care DiscountAbout UsOur Company is based out of Alpharetta, GA operating 18 Childcare Centers around Metro Atlanta
