We are dedicated to offering farm-to-table, healthy, all natural food that is fresh and made from scratch. We partner with local farmers and use organic and responsibly grown products. Sweet Lemon Kitchen in Georgetown, TX is looking for an Experienced Baker to join our team. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and engaged!
Responsibilities:
Follow recipes and measurements accurately to ensure consistent quality
Prepare and mix a variety of batters and custards: including quick bread, pastries, cakes, and frostings
Knead, Shape, Roll, and Cut dough to form sweet rolls, pie crusts, tarts, cookies
Decorate and glaze baked goods to be appealing and consistent
Prepare and maintain inventory of baked goods
Clean and sanitize workstation, equipment, and utensils
Monitor baking process and adjust temperatures and cooking times as needed
Qualifications:
Knowledge of different baking techniques and ingredients
Attention to detail in all aspects of baking- measuring, organizing, portioning, decorating, and cleaning
Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal: coordination with other bakers on oven schedules, ensuring timely production, pacing production to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Physical stamina: Standing for long periods and ability to lift heavy ingredients
Experience as a Baker 2+ years, and/or Culinary Degree
