Digital Content Manager

Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 Reports to: Director of MarketingLocation: You will primarily work REMOTE, with occasional in-person team meetingsTravel: Occasional travel to properties or for meetings in the US and MexicoWhat You'll DoWebsite & CMS ManagementRegularly monitor all websites you oversee for accuracy and currency to marketing plan promotions and A/B test updatesPartner with our web agency to prioritize, project manage, and QA all content, functionality, and code updatesIdentify and champion user experience improvements that reduce friction in the guest booking experienceServe as the liaison between our company and assigned technology and web platform vendorsSEO & PerformanceDevelop and execute an ongoing SEO strategy covering on-page optimization, metadata, site structure, and internal linking across our portfolioMonitor and analyze performance using Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console, translating data into clear, actionable recommendationsCollaborate with the Commercial team to ensure landing pages and site content support campaign goalsForm hypotheses and run A/B and multivariate tests to continuously improve guest experience on owned digital propertiesContent Strategy & WritingWrite and edit compelling content in collaboration with the Creative team for websites, landing pages, paid ads, email campaigns, and seasonal promotionsMaintain brand voice guidelines to ensure consistency across all digital channels and propertiesManage an editorial calendar that balances brand storytelling with commercial and seasonal prioritiesSocial MediaLead social media strategy and posting calendars across Instagram, Facebook, short video, and relevant emerging platforms on behalf of Lark Hotels and our independent hotel partnersPlan, source, write, and schedule engaging content in collaboration with the broader Marketing team, General Managers, and our branding agencyMonitor community engagement; respond to brand conversations and flag reputation opportunities or concernsStay current on platform algorithm changes, content trends, and hospitality social media best practicesStakeholder CollaborationAct as the digital content liaison between corporate Marketing and on-property General Managers and Owners by gathering inputs, aligning priorities, and keeping everyone informedEnsure ongoing compliance with digital accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1), privacy regulations (CASL, CAN-SPAM), and brand guidelinesPartner with Revenue and Operations teams to ensure digital content reflects accurate, up-to-date property informationWhat You Bring3–5 years of experience in digital content management, with a portfolio demonstrating strong work across both web and social channelsExpert proficiency in content editing using multiple content management platformsSolid SEO fundamentals with hands-on experience in Google Analytics 4 and Google Search ConsoleExcellent writing skills that are clear, warm, audience-aware, and on-brand; you can write a boutique hotel landing page and a witty Instagram caption with equal careProven project management ability; you stay organized and calm when multiple priorities are in motionExperience in travel, tourism, or hospitality is strongly preferredFamiliarity with social scheduling platforms such as Later, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or equivalentWorking knowledge of Canva or Adobe Creative Suite for light content production needsPersonalityA right and left-brained thinker; you are as comfortable with providing insightful analytics as you are visualizing an immersive customer journeyA driven self-starter who can work independently while always diving in to help the teamA passionate, respectful collaborator who can fit into the culture of the Marketing team and continually add to the entire company's knowledgeA "hospitality soul" - someone who cares about people, families, communities, and the benefits of travelBonus points for:Experience incorporating AI tools into content workflowsBasic HTML/CSS knowledgeEmail marketing platform experience (Ascent360, Mailchimp, or similar)BenefitsWork from home, flexible hoursCompetitive salary and PTOHealth/dental/visionLaptop, cell phoneA collaborative, close-knit team where your work is genuinely visible and valuedProperty discounts across our portfolio hotelsThe chance to shape the digital voice of a beloved and growing independent hospitality brandLark is a leading, Michelin Key award-winning operator of boutique hotels under 150 keys in North America.
