Mold Maker/ Carpenter

Job Description We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter / Mold Maker to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong carpentry experience who is interested in applying their craftsmanship to the creation of molds used in Glass Reinforced Gypsum (GRG) architectural elements. If you take pride in precision work, enjoy hands-on building, and have an eye for detail, we'd love to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:Build and assemble high-quality molds using wood and other materialsInterpret shop drawings, blueprints, and design specificationsMeasure, cut, shape, and construct mold components with precisionWork closely with production teams to ensure molds meet project requirementsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized workspaceRepair and modify existing molds as neededQualifications:Strong background in carpentry, woodworking, or cabinet makingAbility to read and interpret technical drawingsExperience with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machineryHigh attention to detail and craftsmanshipProblem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a teamPrior experience with mold making or casting (plaster, fiberglass, or similar) is a plus but not requiredPreferred (Not Required):Experience in architectural fabrication or ornamental plasterFamiliarity with GRG or similar materialsShop or fabrication environment experienceCompany DescriptionMoonlight Molds is a 40 year manufacturer of custom Architectural cast mouldings and sells to the construction industry.Company DescriptionMoonlight Molds is a 40 year manufacturer of custom Architectural cast mouldings and sells to the construction industry.
