This position's role is to maintain all guestrooms and public areas to the utmost satisfaction of our guests and Exploria Company standards.Responsibilities And DutiesProvides exceptional service to all guests and potential guests by assisting them in a friendly, efficient, manner.Performs necessary repairs and preventive maintenance tasks in a manner responsive to guest satisfaction and to the preservation of Company assets in a safe, cost-effective manner.Requires knowledge of maintenance skills.Requires ability to handle all aspects of hotel/resort maintenance.Requires general knowledge of building maintenance to include minor electrical repair, appliance repair, and plumbing.Requires self-motivation and organizational skills.Requires the ability to be available for emergency repairsQualificationsQualifications and Skills:Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities, maintenance, or related field is required.Construction experience preferred but not requiredHVAC knowledge is a plus Must have a valid Driver’s License Required CompetenciesMust be punctual, dependable, and flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.Ability to work under pressure and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.Positive attitude and a willingness to learnCommunicate effectively in EnglishPhysical DemandsWork outdoors for extended periods of timeConstant standing with some walking.Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 poundsSign up to join our mailing list and hear about future opportunities:Exploria Resorts Recruitment Form
