Senior Safety Engineer

Duration: 06 months Required Skills Must:1. 4-year college degree preferably with a focus on Safety, Health and Environment2. 5+ years of practical experience in Safety and Environmental in a manufacturing environment3. Clear and effective communication skills with ability to present to others4. Self-motivated, confident professional that wants to join a team environment in a company that pursuits a strong safety and sustainable development culture5. Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standardsDuties:Candidate will help drive the culture that every incident is avoidable and that being proactive in detecting and eliminating risk is everyone's responsibility.Develops and publishes safety and environmental programs consistent with regulations and company policy.o Develops and conducts training for associates, managers, supervisors, other employees, visitors and contractors in the areas of general safety and environmental awareness, specific program requirements and specific job requirements.o Perform job hazard and Ergonomic analysis to identify loss potential of our systems and processes.o Review and interpret loss data to discover causative agents and recommend appropriate corrective actions.o Review and revise location standards, policies and practices as necessary to assure they are current and in concert with company and / or regulatory requirements under OSHA, EPA, DOT.o Assists with maintenance of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 program requirements and certificationo Assists with accident investigations to ascertain causes in order to develop preventive safety measures and programso Review and evaluate technical developments to measure applicability to our processes.o Maintains required records, prepares reports and files as necessary to meet corporate and regulatory requirements.o Audit implementation by effected personnel.o Organize and coordinate emergency response.o Participates in audits and inspections of the location to ensure company objectives and regulatory requirements are met.About US Tech Solutions:US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
