The Electrical Design Engineer will design and ensure compliance with customer requirements and regulatory requirements such as Mil-STD-810 or RTCA DO-160. The Electrical Design Engineer should be cross functional and capable of performing design and manufacturing definition along with conducting tests in support of project goals.This position is 100% on-site. The Electrical Design Engineer responsibilities include:Design by Schematic capture, simulation, analysis, and layout of electronic devices such as:DC to DC converters, motor drivers, sensors, generator control units, and power filters.Review of designs created by othersTesting of electronic devices to commercial or military standardsCollaboration and troubleshooting of design issuesDocumentation of design issues, solutions, test plans and reportsQualificationsMasters or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical EngineeringMinimum of 4 years of industry experience working with or consulting on electrical designU. S. citizenship is requiredPosition requires the ability to obtain a U. S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.
