Position SummaryThe host is the first and last impression of our restaurant. In this high-volume role, you will manage guest flow, maintain organized seating, and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere; even during peak service hours. The ideal candidate is outgoing, confident, personable, and energized by busy environments.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet all guests promptly with a genuine smile and positive attitudeManage waitlists efficiently using reservation and seating systemsCommunicate accurate wait times and manage guest expectationsCoordinate seating to optimize table turnover and server balanceMaintain a clean, organized, and inviting host stand and entrance areaAnswer phones professionally and assist with reservationsAssist guests with special requests and accommodate needs whenever possibleCollaborate with servers, bartenders, and management to ensure smooth service flowThank guests sincerely as they depart and invite them to returnQualificationsOutgoing, extroverted personality with strong interpersonal skillsComfortable speaking confidently to large groups and handling high guest trafficAbility to multitask and stay composed under pressureExcellent communication and organizational skillsPositive attitude with a team-first mindsetPrior host or customer service experience preferred (high-volume experience a plus)Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidaysBENEFITS:FLEXIBLE SCHEDULES5 DAYS OF PTO (after 1 year and minimum avg. hours worked requirements are met)INSURANCE AFTER 60 DAYS: Minimum average hours requirement must be metWe participate in the E-Verify program.
