Local Class A CDL Driver

Position: Class A CDL LOCAL Driver, Full-Time Hours of operation: 40 hour work week, (Home Every Night), 1.5x the pay rate for any overtime. Pay Range: $25-$29/ hr Responsibilities and Duties × Operate tractor trailer truck safely and efficiently. × Transporting import/export containers to and from the port/railyard × Pick up materials on flatbed/containers. × Maintain log books and safety guidelines. × Must manually strap and un-strap flatbed. × Various physical tasks related to truck and container operation Qualifications and Skills × Must have a valid, clear Class A commercial driver license × Must be able to operate a manual transmission × Good driving history × Ability to pass a drug test, background check, and Motor Vehicle Check* × Experience with handling 20-40 foot containers preferred × Inter-Modal Experience (Rail-yard/Port) preferred Benefits × After 60 day period is met, the company pays 100% of each employee's Health, Vision, Dental, Life insurance, Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability. × An evaluation is also conducted at a 90 day probation period, in which the employee is eligible for a monetary increase along with the Paid Time Off Program. × Performance Bonus Program × 401K Retirement Plan × Free Friday lunch Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Experience: intermodal: 3 years (Preferred) Port Rail Yard: 3 years (Preferred) Manual transmission: 3 years (Preferred) License/Certification: Hazmat Endorsement (Preferred) Class A CDL License (Required) Work Location: In person
