At USACS, our teams are supported and structured to allow APPs to focus on meaningful, compassionate care. We’re adding a Palliative Care Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to our team at Baptist Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas.
Practice Highlights:
Established palliative care program within a large health system
Interdisciplinary team including Physicians, APPs, nursing, and support staff
Inpatient consult service focused on symptom management and goals-of-care discussions
Collaborative environment with strong physician support
EMR: Epic
2 weeks of PTO
No weekends or Holidays
Monday – Friday day shift role
Excellent compensation with an estimated employed W-2 pay of $75/hour PLUS comprehensive USACS benefits and a 10% company-funded 401k
What your practice will look like:
You’ll work closely with patients, families, and care teams to provide symptom management, facilitate goals-of-care conversations, and support complex medical decision-making. The role emphasizes communication, continuity, and coordination across disciplines to ensure care aligns with patient values and needs.
