Job Description Fabrication WelderLocations: Houston, TX 77038 & Conroe, TX 77301Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour DOE2+ Extra for Night ShiftNIGHT SHIFT AVAILABLE ONLYApache Workforce Solutions is seeking experienced and motivated Fabrication Welders to join our growing team. In this role, you will produce a variety of sheet metal parts and metal building components while ensuring all products meet dimensional and quality requirements. You will set up and align parts according to shop prints, perform welding operations, and complete final fabrication assembly while working independently or as part of a team.Responsibilities:Reference shop prints to determine weld locations, sizes, and lengthsPerform MIG welding on mild steel and stainless steelCreate basic fittings and assembliesSet up and adjust welding equipment to maintain weld qualityRemove material using grinding processesRead blueprints and inspect parts for dimensional accuracyPerform basic layouts, positioning, and alignmentInspect parts against engineered drawingsPerform spray transfer MIG weldingExamine weld beads for acceptable weld attributesCope, fit, and square partsMaintain overall dimensions, squareness, and plumb throughout fabricationFinish grind and perform surface finishing as requiredRepair weld defects as neededPerform tack welding and stud weldingTorch cutting and material preparationNotify lead personnel or inspectors when products are ready for inspectionMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentAssigned Duties as neededMinimum QualificationsMinimum 2 years of welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentMinimum 2 years of experience using fabrication and measuring tools, including:SquaresClampsFillet gaugesAngle grindersExperience operating fabrication equipment, including:ShearsBrake pressesTurret punchesCNC lasersIronworkersBand sawsWelding machinesCutting torchesPlasma cuttersGrindersOverhead cranesKnowledge of applicable Quality Assurance Procedures (QAPs)Ability to read blueprints and tape measures accuratelyAbility to convert decimals to fractions and use conversion chartsStrong organizational, communication, and time-management skillsReliable attendance and strong work ethicAbility to lift, push, and pull 50+ poundsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periodsExcellent manual dexterity, color vision, and eyesightAbility to pass a physical, drug screen, driving record review, and background checkAlignment with company core valuesPreferred Qualifications1G and 3G Welding CertificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDForklift operating experienceForklift CertificationWhy Join Apache Workforce Solutions?Competitive pay based on experienceDay and night shift opportunitiesLong-term career growth potentialTeam-oriented work environmentOpportunities to work on high-quality fabrication projectsApply today and become part of a team dedicated to craftsmanship, safety, and quality.
