Technical SalesOur client is seeking a Technical Sales Representative with 25 years of experience supporting customers within a sheet metal fabrication and contract manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone with inside sales, manufacturing sales, or customer-facing experience selling fabricated metal products and production services.The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with customers, supporting quoting activities, managing accounts, and coordinating with internal manufacturing teams to ensure customer requirements are met.Responsibilities:Manage inside sales activities for custom sheet metal fabrication and contract manufacturing projectsWork directly with customers to understand project requirements, timelines, and production needsSupport quoting, pricing, and proposal development for fabricated products and manufacturing servicesCoordinate with production, estimating, and operations teams to ensure successful project executionMaintain strong customer relationships and provide ongoing account supportFollow up on leads, open quotes, and existing business opportunitiesAssist with order management, project communication, and customer updates throughout productionSupport business development efforts and help identify new sales opportunities within existing accountsQualifications:25 years of experience in technical sales, inside sales, manufacturing sales, or contract manufacturing environmentsExperience supporting sheet metal fabrication, metal manufacturing, or custom fabricated products preferredStrong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skillsAbility to manage multiple customer projects and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentStrong organizational and follow-up skillsDegree not required equivalent industry experience highly valued
