Sales Manager - Northern Europe

Backed by leading investors and now in scale-up mode, our client is a tech-driven platform transforming cross-border procurement of engineering products and solutions.Their platform efficiently connects manufacturing, packaging, food processing, pharmaceutical and systems integrator businesses across Europe to a diverse range of engineering goods from leading Indian suppliers. The business operates at the premium end of industrial manufacturing quality.A new role has been created for a Head of Sales, Northern Europe. It's a hands-on, customer facing role that reports directly to the VP Europe, based in the UK.You will be responsible for driving sales opportunities across multiple manufacturing sectors, building relationships and ensuring RFQ pipeline growth through OEM customers.The ideal candidate is a passionate, self-motivated, and detail-oriented team player who is excited by the opportunity to play a significant part in the growth of Indian manufacturing growth within Europe based OEMs. The symptom of your success will be clear in substantial earnings and career development as the business goes through significant evolution.Responsibilities:OEM relationship management and development.Attain order targets and consistently deliver business development opportunities on a quarterly basis.Maintain relationships with customers to develop reference base and retain business.Stay abreast of changes in relevant technology, competition and customer preferences that may affect positioning in the marketplace.Generate and execute opportunities for large contractsContribute effectively to the company's ambitious growth objectives/yearly sales budgetPosition the company to generate recurring businessQualificationsDemonstrable experience in key account management and OEM customer acquisitionInternational sales experienceWell-networked amongst industrial buyers such as system integrators and OEMSFamiliar with "Value Selling"Languages Fluent English (working language)Able to travel regularly as necessary. Your likely home location will be Netherlands, Germany, France, Belgium or the Nordics.
