Director of Business Development
Ambition are excited to be exclusively partnering with a leading US law firm, to hire a BD Director for that will be based in their DC office. This role will be highly visible position within the firm, working closely with the firm's leadership team and reporting into the CMO. Alongside leading the existing BD team, the main focus of the role will be leading and building the firms client relationship program, something we feel that is an incredibly exciting opportunity for an experienced BD/Client relationship professional currently operating in the legal space. Core duties will include: Working with the firm's senior leadership team and CMO, build and develop a comprehensive client relationship program for the firm's major clients. Along with devising the best practice, this will also include you coaching and mentoring partners and lawyers on the enhanced value this will bring the business to align with the firm's growth strategy. Create a client feedback and listening program, one that will allow the firm to understand cross selling opportunities and new business opportunities. Along with ensuring the firm is positioning itself to deliver best in class client service. Manage and develop the firms existing BD team based in the US, taking a keen interest in the professional development of the team, advising the CMO around any hiring needs in the future too. Play a key part in the firm's leadership team, working with the CMO on firmwide projects and initiatives that allow the firm to continue to enhance their brand and reputation within core markets. We believe this role is particularly compelling within the current market, given its strong emphasis on client relationship piece, an aspect that is far less common in the market.
