The Probate Paralegal is at the heart of moving our probate cases forward, working alongside attorneys on everything from smooth, uncontested estates to complex probate disputes. This role offers a mix of routine and high-stakes work, perfect for someone who enjoys variety and problem-solving. It calls for strong probate know-how, sharp attention to deadlines, and the ability to keep a busy caseload running efficiently.Job Type: Full-time, Monday-Friday 8:30-5Benefits:401(k) & 401(k) matching (after 3 months employment)Dental/Health/Vision insuranceAnnual PTOYearly Bonus OpportunityFree parkingWellness programCompensation:$57,000 - $65,000 yearlyResponsibilities:Uncontested Probate & AdministrationPrepare and file probate applications (independent administration, dependent administration, muniment of title, small estate affidavits)Draft routine pleadings, notices, oaths, bonds, and proposed ordersCoordinate service, citation, and publication requirementsPrepare inventories, appraisements, and lists of claimsAssist with asset collection, creditor notices, and estate administration tasksMaintain probate calendars and track statutory deadlinesCommunicate with clients regarding status updates and document collectionContested Probate & LitigationAssist attorneys with will contests, heirship disputes, fiduciary removal actions, and related litigationDraft litigation pleadings, discovery requests/responses, and correspondenceManage document production, organization, and reviewCoordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial settingsPrepare hearing and trial notebooks, exhibits, and witness materialsE-file documents and ensure compliance with local court rulesMaintain litigation deadlines and case management systemsQualifications:3+ years of probate experience, including exposure to contested mattersStrong knowledge of probate procedures and court filing requirementsExperience with e-filing systems and case management softwareExcellent drafting, organizational, and time-management skillsAbility to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines with minimal supervisionStrong communication skills and professionalism with clients and court personnelAbout CompanyThe Rolon Law Firm is a firm where every team member is valued.
