Curriculum Supervisor
POSITION TITLE: Curriculum Supervisor REPORTS TO: Director of Curriculum and Instruction TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Administrative (Act 93) 12-Month Position The Curriculum Supervisor supports the Director of Curriculum in the coordination, implementation, and monitoring of the district's K-12 curriculum, instructional programs, assessment systems, and professional learning. This role contributes to the effective execution of district initiatives and provides direct support to principals, teachers, and instructional teams. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversight of language instruction educational program (LIEP) and Title IIICoordinate and Provide Oversight Support for the ELD teacher/programSupport the evaluation and continuous improvement of educational programs through data collection, analysis, and reportingCoordinate and assist in curriculum development, including alignment of scope and sequence and instructional resourcesManage the implementation and logistics of textbook and instructional material adoption processesCollaborate with building principals and instructional leaders to support curriculum and instructional initiativesSupport building principals and instructional leaders in implementing high-quality instructional practices through the use of an effective MTSS frameworkPlan, organize, and facilitate professional development aligned to district prioritiesCollect, organize, and analyze student performance data to inform instructional decisions and support school improvement effortsPoint of contact for Instructional Technology and Curriculum/Data WarehouseFacilitate curriculum committees and support curriculum writers, department chairs, and teacher leadersAssist in monitoring budgets related to curriculum, instruction, assessment, and professional developmentCoordinate New Teacher Orientation and support the Induction ProgramAssist in the coordination and daily operations of the Upper Perkiomen Online Learning Academy (UPOLA)Support state and local assessment coordination, including logistics, training, and complianceAssist with state reporting requirements related to Career Education and Work StandardsCollaborate with principals, instructional coaches, and community partners to support college/career readiness initiativesPerform other duties as assigned by the Director of Curriculum, Assistant Superintendent, or Superintendent KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Education/Experience Requirements:Master's Degree PreferredPA Administrative Certification - Curriculum and Instruction or PrincipalExperience in a curriculum leadership role and classroom teaching experienceAbility to collaborate with teachers and administrators and build positive relationshipsAbility to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and provide valid solutionsExcellent leadership, organizational, and time-management skillsOutstanding levels of verbal and written communicationProficiency in the use of all forms of relevant technology EEO/M/F/V/D
