COUNTY OF BUCKSJOB TITLE:SEASONAL HELPBOAT HANDLERJOB CODE:800DEPARTMENT:Parks and RecreationUNION:00FLSA STATUS:Non-ExemptGRADE:POSITION SUMMARY:As a valued member of the Bucks County Department of Parks and Recreation, the Boat Handler will assist in the maintenance and operation of the boat rental in an efficient and professional manner. Reports directly to the manager and requires significant interaction with the public.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Assists with the overall operation of boat rental including fee collection, boat rental and completing associated forms and reports.Operates and maintains all boat rental equipment, grounds, docks and office in excellent condition at all times.Operates a POS system and completes daily/weekly financial reports and any others as required.Acquires and maintains certifications or attends training classes as required by the department.Enforces safety standards and emergency procedures for operation of boat rental.Other duties may be assigned.QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
