Our biggest priority is providing outstanding customer service & revolutionizing the industry through the use of the latest technology.Job PurposeAs a Route Manager based out of our headquarters in Clinton Township, MI, you will lead a team of drivers while coordinating daily logistics operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality waste collection services. Acting as a liaison between drivers, customers, and internal teams, you will provide real-time support, oversee route performance, and drive continuous improvements to enhance both the driver and customer experience.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDuties include but are not limited to:Supervise and support a team of drivers, including daily oversight, coaching, and performance managementAssign and adjust routes and carrier responsibilities to ensure efficient service deliveryProvide real-time support to drivers throughout their routes, resolving service, safety, and equipment issuesServe as the escalation point for customer concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolutionCommunicate with drivers and internal teams via phone, Microsoft Teams chat, and videoCollaborate with logistics, customer service, and quality teams to drive service excellenceTrack, trace, and update the status of daily waste removal routes using internal systemsMonitor route performance and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savingsEnsure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirementsAssist with onboarding and training of new drivers and provide ongoing coachingParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives and implement operational enhancementsMonitor waste storage areas, documentation, equipment, and procedures from Priority's HeadquartersThe successful candidate profile includes:2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field; supervisory experience preferredStrong knowledge of routing, dispatch, and fleet operationsProven leadership, communication, and team development skillsAbility to problem-solve, prioritize, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office and logistics/route management systemsCustomer-focused with strong organizational and time management abilitiesAt Priority Waste, there are fundamental qualities that we look for in all our employees:People who excel in a collaborative environment (team players)A willingness to do whatever the situation calls forAn excitement to be part of a growing organizationA genuine understanding that the quality of your work has a direct impact on the company's success
