The Residential Supervisor works within theAgency\'s team model, establishing open communication, support andaccountability among co-workers. Our team works in a supportiveresidential environment for developmentally disabled adults living in acommunity-based group home. RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises all full orpart-time staff to ensure appropriate service delivery Supportingclients\' activities of daily living, Administering medications asneeded, Advocating for individuals\' within various community settings,Providing opportunities to optimize their independence Developprofessional and supportive relationships with clients and provideinformal counseling and guidance with a person-centered focus. Interactswith clients in order to assess needs, provide information, discussproblems, set limits, and encourage growth and development whilemonitoring safety Understands, follows/implements all client ISP\'s anddocuments progress Provides thorough orientation of all new staffREQUIREMENTS: Minimum two years\' experience with the population as wellsupervisory experience. Must have current MAP certification, CPR andFirst Aid. Must have excellent oral and written communication and mustbe proficient in use of computers. Bachelor\'s Degree in related fieldrequired.
