Job TitleWash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment. Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized.Duties and ResponsibilitiesLoad, run, and unload dish machineKeep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediatelyMonitor dish machine's water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycleWash and store tableware and kitchenwareKeep dish room clean and organizedMaintain adequate levels of clean tableware for the dining room and kitchenPerform trash audits every 15 minutesBag and haul dish room trash to dumpster at appropriate timesHandle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and lossMaintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning suppliesClean food preparation and production areas as requiredBe available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisorHelp with light prep and portioningQualificationsNo previous restaurant experience requiredBe able to work in a hot, wet, humid, and loud environment for long periods of timeBe physically able to lift, reach, bend and stoopBe able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours)Be able to safely lift bags, cases, and stacks weighing up to 60 pounds up to 30 times per shiftCompensation: $15.00 - $16.50 per hourFounded in 2006, Big Whiskey's American Restaurant & Bar began in the heart of the midwest.
