Under general supervision, performs a variety of tasks which require a thorough knowledge of materials, tools, and equipment. This position requires someone that can work independently from a schedule with minimal supervision.Responsibilities:Responsible for removing completed pallets from all machinesStacking of finished cartons onto palletsMove materials from and to WIP locationsFilling assembly machines with WIPAvailable to assist with all scheduled plant inventory eventsRelieves operators during lunches and breaks as neededInspection of product before placing into appropriate cartonGrinding of runnersResponsible for the accurate documentation of inventory itemsScanning to the machines properlyScanning from the machines properlyScanning to and from locationsOther duties as assigned.Obtain Fork truck certification (Certification required within 1 week of start date / offered by MRP Solutions)Fork truckBendi style fork truckElectric pallet jack / material moversPhysical Requirments:While performing the duties, the employee will be required to sit and/or stand, talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands, fingers and arms to feel objects or controls, reach with hands and arms. Prolonged standing/walking periods of 12 hours.
