The primary focus of this role is to care for his 14-year-old daughter during the school week, providing attentive supervision, transportation, and meal preparation. Someone who values a collaborative approach. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, organized, and flexible professional who can seamlessly manage after school pick-ups, prepare healthy meals and snacks, run errands, and assist with light household tasks. A genuine love for working with teenagers and strong communication skills are essential to foster a positive and supportive environment for the daughter. Children: One teenage daughter, age 14 Pets: One cat Household Staff: A home cleaning service is already in place, allowing this role to focus on household assistance and childcare. ResponsibilitiesProvide attentive after school care (M-F) for the 14-year-old daughter, including school pick-up and transportation to activities or friendsPrepare and cook healthy meals and snacks appropriate for a teenagerRun household errands such as grocery shopping, dry cleaning pick-up/drop-off, post office visits, etc.Assist with light cleaning and tidying to maintain an organized household environmentHelp with laundry and basic household organization tasksMaintain clear and consistent communicationFlexibility with working hours on occasion to accommodate work events, with overtime compensation provided Ideal Candidate & PersonalityThe ideal candidate is a dependable and compassionate individual with recent experience caring for teenagers and managing household tasks. They will have excellent communication skills and be fluent in English to effectively interact with dad and his daughter. A professional who can cook and prepare nutritious meals, is comfortable driving with a safe and reliable personal vehicle, and demonstrates flexibility to adjust hours when needed will thrive in this role. Comfort and ease around a cat is also important.
