Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Respiratory Care Practitioner II role located in Towson, MD. The practitioner will provide specialized respiratory care services, including the assessment, treatment, and monitoring of patients with respiratory conditions. Responsibilities include administering therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, managing ventilators, performing patient evaluations, and delivering education to patients and their families. Collaboration with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans is a key component of the role. Qualifications Expertise in administering respiratory treatments and operating advanced respiratory equipment and ventilatorsProficiency in patient assessment, diagnosing respiratory issues, and documenting care providedStrong collaboration skills for working with medical teams to develop and implement care plansGood communication skills for patient education regarding respiratory management and health practicesCurrent Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) licensure in MarylandCertification through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) considered with additional experienceBasic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificationsTwo or more years of experience in acute care or critical care respiratory therapy preferredAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and provide patient-centered care
