We are currently seeking a Title Processor to join our growing team! The Title Processor's primary responsibility is to ensure the client’s title application is prepared and submitted correctly and work to resolve any issues or discrepancies in order to produce a clear title. This role is responsible for gathering and inputting data relating to taxes, insurance, home-owners association dues, prior loan payoffs, liens, etc. The successful candidate will have some experience in reviewing titles and a well-rounded skill set that includes customer service, task-based workflow, and the ability to meet strict deadlines. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and proactive research are key, this is the perfect opportunity to elevate your career in real estate and title processing. *Essential Job Functions:* * Analyze, review, and verify the accuracy of documents, deeds, affidavits, mortgages, and sales contracts * Collaborate closely with clients, lenders, real estate agents, and legal professionals * Prepare transaction documents by completing forms/statements, collecting, and reviewing existing documents * Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations while maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of changing real estate laws and regulations * Maintain a high level of ethical conduct and integrity when handling sensitive financial and legal information * Review real estate documentation including easements, legal descriptions, and title commitments to ensure accuracy and completeness. * Determine escrow requirements by verifying buyer, seller, and lender instructions including calling on water, taxes, and special assessments * Respond to inquiries from clients, this includes working with our international clients * Perform data entry and other administrative duties supporting the agency * Coordinate and schedule closings * Excellent research skills with a keen eye for detail when reviewing complex real estate documentation * Perform all other tasks necessary to assist in the completion of a sale transaction *Qualifications:* To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. * High School Diploma or GED required. * Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel * Knowledge of title entry-level production software is preferred * A minimum of 1 year experience as Title related role within Title Processor, or similar role in legal industry * Possess an understanding of standard concepts, practices and procedures of the escrow and title process * Familiar with local, state, and federal laws related to property transactions * Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on exceptional client service * Ability to identify and solve problems in a quick and efficient manner * Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines * Ability to prioritize high volume of work in a fast-paced environment * Ability to time management organization * Bilingual Portuguese a plus * Resware/Qualia Software Knowledge a plus Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week Benefits: * Employee assistance program * Paid time off * Referral program * Tuition reimbursement Experience: * Title processing: 1 year (Required) Language: * Portuguese (Preferred) Work Location: In person
