Childcare Floater

Overview We are seeking a Part-Time and Full-Time Floater to join our team. Duties - Collaborate with teachers to monitor the development of each child -Understand the teacher's routine when it comes to delivering a lesson plan and running the class in the event that the teacher is absent on a particular day -Work with children in the classroom to promote their learning and development -Communicate with parents and keep them informed about their child's development and any changes to the regular day-to-day schedule -Assist school age children with homework and enrichment activities Skills - Experience working with children in an educational setting - Strong knowledge of child development and early childhood education practices - Ability to educate and inspire young learners - Proficiency in curriculum development and lesson planning - Familiarity with standardized testing procedures in early education - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 4 – 8 per week Education: High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: Childcare: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: CPR Certification (Required) Ability to Commute: North Versailles, PA 15137 (Required) Work Location: In person
