CNC Machine Operator
As a CNC Machine Operator at BTR, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of various types of CNC machinery in a manufacturing or production environment. Your primary duties will include setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machines to ensure they function properly and produce high-quality products. You will also be tasked with troubleshooting any issues that arise during production and performing routine maintenance on the equipment to keep it in optimal working condition.Duties/Responsibilities:Set up machinery according to specifications provided by supervisors or technical manualsOperate machinery to perform tasks such as cutting, shaping, drilling, or molding materialsMonitor machines during operation to ensure they are functioning correctly and producing quality productsAdjust machine settings as necessary to maintain product quality and meet production quotasInspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and make adjustments to the process as neededTroubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs or adjustments to minimize downtimePerform routine maintenance tasks on machinery, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing partsFollow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and othersKeep detailed records of production output, machine settings, and maintenance activitiesCollaborate with other team members, including supervisors and quality control personnel, to optimize production processes and resolve issuesAny other tasks/duties as assigned or deemed necessary by managementRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredCompletion of a 2-year trade school certificate preferredCNC Machining Experience: Mazak Vertical experience preferredKnowledgeable in G CodeAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagramsMaintain quality while meeting or exceeding production targetsMechanical aptitude and sound knowledge of machine toolingPerform routine maintenance on modern CNC equipmentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects up to 50 poundsCommitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations and proceduresMust be comfortable and able to work safely and effectively around heat-producing equipmentMust be legally authorized to work in the United StatesBenefitsWe are a team-driven company that values strong working relationships, work/life balance, and the enjoyment of the work we do together.
