Company Description We suggest you enter details here. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Optometric Assistant at Chandler Morgan Eyeworks, located in Americus, GA. The Optometric Assistant will assist optometrists with day-to-day patient care, including conducting pre-tests, assisting during eye examinations, and maintaining records. They will help schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and provide exceptional customer service. Additional duties include maintaining a clean and organized workspace, assisting with eyewear selection, and educating patients about eye care and products. Qualifications Knowledge of optometry and experience assisting in eye care practicesStrong interpersonal and customer service skills to ensure positive patient experiencesProficiency in appointment scheduling and organizationAbility and willingness to learn and assist in patient training for eyewear use and careDetail-oriented with excellent communication skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced environmentPrior experience in a similar role and familiarity with optical equipment is a plus
