First Shift Warehouse Lead Warehouse Lead - 1st Shift The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations on the 1st shift. This role ensures efficient workflow, accurate order fulfillment, safety compliance, and effective supervision of warehouse associates. The Warehouse Lead serves as a hands-on leader, supporting both production goals and team development.Location: Kenosha, WI Schedule: Monday - Friday | 08:30 AM - 5:00 PM Pay Rate: $22.00/hourDuties:Supervise and coordinate daily activities of warehouse associates during 1st shift operationsAssign tasks, monitor productivity, and ensure all work is completed accurately and on timeOversee receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of productsEnsure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reporting discrepanciesTrain, coach, and support team members on processes, equipment, and safety proceduresOperate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as neededMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standardsCommunicate with supervisors and management regarding production issues, staffing needs, or delaysEnsure orders are fulfilled correctly and meet quality standards before shipmentRequirements:Prior warehouse or distribution experience required (lead or senior-level preferred)Forklift experience and certification preferredStrong leadership and communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple prioritiesBasic computer or warehouse management system (WMS) experience a plusStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsMechanical or technical certification (a plus)Experience with torque specifications and precision measurementsLeadership or mentoring experienceKnowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practicesWork Environment & PPE:Ability to lift up to 50 lbsStanding, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periodsOperating warehouse equipment safelyMidway Staffing offers a comprehensive benefits package offering Medical, Dental, Vision and Life/AD&D benefit options to all eligible employees.Midway Staffing is a dynamic and rapidly growing enterprise dedicated to connecting top talent with leading organizations.
