MySQL Database Administrator

They are seeking a dedicated professional to manage and optimize complex database systems in both on-premises and cloud environments.The Role Lead enterprise database environments, focusing on AWS MySQL and PostgreSQL. Install, configure, maintain, and optimize database systems, including clustering, replication, and high availability. Plan and execute database migrations from on-premises to AWS cloud platforms. Design and implement disaster recovery strategies and ensure database security and compliance. Collaborate with stakeholders, application teams, and infrastructure engineers to streamline deployments and improve reliability. Monitor database performance, integrity, and security, and perform routine maintenance tasks.What You'll Need Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of experience in database administration, with 10+ years strongly preferred. Strong hands-on expertise in MySQL Cluster administration across on-premises and AWS cloud environments. In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL and MySQL installation, configuration, optimization, clustering, replication, backup/recovery, and maintenance. Proven ability to manage databases across multiple platforms including VMware, AWS EC2, Amazon RDS, and Amazon Aurora. Experience migrating PostgreSQL and MySQL clusters to AWS cloud environments, including assessments and planning.
