Job Description Aston Construction Remodeling Handyman Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour, based on experienceLocation: Miami, FL Aston Construction is hiring a full-time Remodeling Handyman to work on residential and commercial construction projects in Miami, FL. We are looking for an experienced, reliable craftsperson who can handle carpentry, repairs, punch-list work, and general construction tasks while maintaining a clean and safe job site.At Aston Construction, we are a leading construction company known for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. Responsibilities: Perform rough and finish carpentry, framing, trim, cabinetry, door installation, and general repairsComplete drywall, painting, spackling, flooring, tile repair, and surface protection tasksAssist with demolition, general cleaning, and job-site preparationRead and follow blueprints, drawings, and project specificationsWork with the project manager and other team members to complete projects accurately and on scheduleSafely operate and maintain tools and equipmentFollow building codes, safety regulations, and company standardsPerform minor plumbing/electrical-related tasks such as relocate plumbing or extend or move electrical box and components Provide professional customer service and maintain clean, organized work areasQualifications: 5+ years of experience as a carpenter Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, construction materials, tools, and safety proceduresAbility to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specificationsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailGood communication skills and ability to work professionally with customers and team membersValid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sitesBasic carpentry hand tools required; specialty tools and materials provided as neededProficiency in both English and Spanish is a plusCompensation: Full Time Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.Aston Construction is an equal opportunity employer.
