Gastroenterology Physician Job near Louisville, Kentucky Seeking a BE/BC Gastroenterologist to join a hospital-employed practice. There are currently two Gastroenterologists within the community and a need for a third in order to care for a service area of 50,000 people. Two outpatient surgery centers are available on campus and a dedicated endoscopy suite available for scopes performed in the hospital. One of the surgery centers is a joint venture with the hospital providing an exciting opportunity for surgeons to purchase stock. Participation in the GI Hospitalist call rotation is 1:4 and provides an additional source of revenue. The physician will also act as a preceptor for the Family Practice and Internal Medicine Residents during their GI rotations.
