Akkodis is seeking a – “Full Stack Developer” for a Contract position with a client located in Charlotte, NC.Pay Range: $60 - $65/hr. (The rate/salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.).Role Summary: Looking for candidates with a banking background, must be local. The interview will be a 60–70 minute panel, highly focused on Java, Spring Boot, Python (for automation), and Angular. Master’s degree is preferred. It will include screen sharing, scenario-based questions, and deep technical evaluation, with candidates expected to be ready for hands-on codingResponsibilities Hands on development, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining applications in the Global Financial Crimes environment. Software developers design, code, test, debug and document programs/activities. Work closely with business partners in defining requirements and ensuring acceptance criteria is met for application changes. In-depth knowledge of development tools and languages is a must. Individual contributor role. Ability to partner with the multiple Technology teams to implement the target architecture and migration to strategic platform• 8 - 10 years of full stack experience in Java end to end application development.• 4+ years of Angular experience• Strong core java skills including multi-threading, collections API, JDBC and knowledge of Java profiling tools• Knowledge of performance tuning data intensive applications• Strong coding, debugging, and analytical skills• Creative individual with a track record of working on and implementing innovative tech based solutions• Exceptional intelligence and problem-solving skills• Excellent communication skills• Software development using agile methodology and processes• Degree from outstanding university• Background in enterprise stress testing• Knowledge and/or experience working within the Elastic, Hadoop, Teradata or other big data distributed ecosystem• Knowledge of cloud computing or distributed computing• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or any quantitative disciplineCritical skillsJavaPythonAngularSpring BootEducation & Experience: Prefers candidates with a Master’s degree, noting that communication skills are key. Prioritize those with a banking background.Technical Stack:Core: Java, Spring Boot, and strong Angular.Automation: Python is required for automation tasks.Live Coding: Candidates must be able to code in a notepad during the interview; familiarity with "LeetCode" style problems is expected.Interview Style: It is not an "academic" interview. Instead, it is based on situational data and product scenarios.
