JD- Lead the design and implementation of data models using MS SQL Server to support business intelligence initiatives. Supervise the development and maintenance of ETL processes using Ab Initio GDE and Ab Initio to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Guide in Unix scripting to automate data processing tasks and streamline workflows. Collaborate with multi-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements translating them into technical specifications. Develop and deploy machine learning models to extract actionable insights from large datasets. Conduct data analysis and visualization to identify trends patterns and anomalies that can inform business strategies. Ensure data quality and consistency by implementing robust data validation and cleansing procedures. Mentor junior data scientists and provide guidance on standard processes and methodologies. Stay ahead of with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve data science capabilities. Communicate findings and recommendations to team members through clear and concise reports and presentations. Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to enhance system performance and scalability. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of coding standards and best practices. Support ad-hoc data requests and provide analytical support for various projects and initiatives. Possess a solid background in MS SQL Server with extensive experience in database design and optimization. Demonstrate proficiency in Ab Initio GDE and Ab Initio for ETL development and data integration. Exhibit advanced skills in Unix scripting for automating data processing tasks. Hold a degree in Computer Science Data Science or a related field. Have a proven track record of developing and deploying machine learning models. Show excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Display good communication skills both written and verbal for effective stakeholder engagement. Nice to have experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus. Experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members is desirable.
