This role oversees similar functions for Skier Services summer operations as well.RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist the recruiting manager with all administrative aspects of the recruitment processMaintain all job postings, coordinating with the HR and marketing teams as neededAct as the main point of contact for all ski instructor applicationsInterview applicants and perform reference checksManage the job offer process for all new hiresEnsure accurate updates are made to all returning job offers, including pay rate and job status changesManage employee housing applications and allotments for the Skier Services divisionMaintain past and present instructor personnel files, including updating pay rates and certificationsContinuously update instructor placement within ski school scheduling systemsAct as the point of contact for all Skier Services and guest injuries in both winter and summer operationsEnsure accurate documentation of all guest injuries that occur during ski school lessonsDocument and work closely with the HR worker’s comp team for all instructor injuriesResponsible for follow-up communication and schedule adjustments for injured instructorsAssist the ski school scheduling team with pre-season updates for new and returning instructorsProvide support for ski school on-snow supervisor teamsOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS:Experience with all Microsoft 365 applicationsMinimum of 18 years of ageAble to lift a minimum of 30 poundsBackground in HR systems preferredExperience in recruiting and hiring preferredFamiliarity with Deer Valley Ski School systems preferredDATES OF EMPLOYMENT:Flex Year Round - may have periods of layoff or reduced hoursPAY RATE:$23.00+ per hour, depending on experienceDeer Valley Resort is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
