Network Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, operate, and support enterprise network infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments. This role works closely with the Network Operations Center (NOC), security teams, and cloud engineers to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable connectivity. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with IP network design, firewalls (Palo Alto preferred), VPNs, Azure Virtual Networks, and modern networking architectures including SD‑WAN and SASE. This role is onsite 5 days a week in Coppell, TX.Essential Job FunctionsDesign, deploy, and manage enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/cloud)Develop and maintain IP addressing schemes, routing, and documentationPartner with the NOC for monitoring, incident response, and escalationConfigure and manage firewalls and security appliances (Palo Alto preferred)Design and support site‑to‑site and remote access VPNsImplement and manage Azure Virtual Networks, peering, and gatewaysSupport SD‑WAN solutions and branch connectivityContribute to SASE architecture and cloud‑based security servicesPerform troubleshooting, capacity planning, and lifecycle managementMaintain network diagrams, runbooks, and SOPsParticipate in on‑call and after‑hours support as requiredKnowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesSkill in delivering responsive, high-quality customer service.Ability to identify and resolve problems.Advanced proficiency (knowledge) with Microsoft Office 365.Palo Alto firewall experience (Panorama, Global Protect) preferredSD‑WAN platform experienceExposure to SASE solutionsCloud integration experience (Azure preferred)Meraki skills, switch specificScripting or automation skills (PowerShell, Python, Terraform) preferredPLANNED BUSINESS TRAVEL This job requires occasional business travel (domestic, estimated 4-5 trips per year)Education And ExperienceHigh School diploma or equivalent is required. Associate or bachelor’s degree, preferredNO SPONSORSHIP PROVIDEDCombined experience in Palo Alto firewalls and stratocloud, Azure networking, and site to site connection practices of 2 or more years with education is desirable.Previous experience with Palo Alto firewalls and stratocloud, Azure networking preferred.
