Central Warehouse Supervisor

Reasonable Accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Essential Functions Statement(s)• Job requires one to supervise subordinate non-supervisory employees in the Warehouse, carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees - planning, assigning, scheduling, and directing work along with daily coaching, addressing complaints, and resolving problems in accordance with HR expectations and standards.• Supervise the team lead and hosts in the preparation of deliveries of products, supplies, equipment, or other items for locations by lifting, pulling, stacking, and organizing orders as necessary within an allotted time for completion - ensure that all correct items and quantities are pulled in accordance with the submitted requisition sheets and sheets are filed as directed.• Provide assistance to Warehouse hosts/leads to work as a team - including, but not limited to, offering Warehouse hosts to assist with cooking or cashiering in a hard park or waterpark location when all Warehouse duties are completed.• Verify all truck deliveries are accurate in comparison to the purchase orders submitted by any Purchasing Manager on park. Communicate with Purchasing Managers on missing product, damaged product, and any product that was sent back with the delivery driver as damaged or insufficient. Keep records of deliveries and returns as required.• Protect company assets: money, merchandise, equipment. Report any theft, waste or other activities that may be detrimental to the park and train on and maintain loss prevention procedures - to include, but not limited to, retraining of Food and Beverage, Merchandise, Games, & Photos hosts when potential issues are identified (such as a variance in sales versus waste).• Re-stocking snack stands, miscellaneous carts, dining houses, and warehouse backstock areas as required• Proper completion of all delivery (requisition) paperwork, system transfers paperwork and reconciliation tasks daily.• Participate in monthly (and/or weekly) inventories, assisting with identification of issues that may result in a negative impact to Cost of Sales.• Ensure that proper product rotation occurs consistently and effectively within FIFO (First in First out) guidelines on a daily basis - labeling rotated product correctly with identification tags, sharpie, and/or "use first" stickers in compliance with state health department regulations.• Effective communication with Warehouse Ops Manager, fellow supervisors of hard park and waterpark locations, and the Foods Department Manager, in addition to Warehouse team.• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas, with safety compliance and OSHA standards in mind, along with cleanliness and best maintenance in mind for item longevity.• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or extraneous storages in a timely manner for best accessibility - while maintaining acceptable levels of cleanliness and sanitation.• Maintain proper storage methods, identifications, and stock locations as directed by Warehouse Ops Manager and standard guidelines as outlined in the Warehouse SOP.• Report on the use and/or expiration of stock and/or damage of stock handling equipment - waste logs filled out for expired/damaged items and transfer forms filled out for "used" product sent out to park locations.• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to Warehouse Ops Manager.• Be able to determine proper routing of orders to be delivered in the least amount of time.• Observation of all company and department policies as outlined in Host Manuals/Handbooks and updates in memos.• Participation in all mandated training programs.• Other duties as assigned.• Maintain a groomed look, good personal hygiene including wearing a clean WA uniform and compliance with any food safety required uniform stipulations• Proper attendance and punctuality in accordance with our attendance policy and handbook• "Create Memories Worth Repeating" for our Guests by exceeding expectations.Position QualificationsCompetency Statement(s):• Friendly - ability to exhibit a cheerful demeanor toward others• Safety Awareness - ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety.• Organized - possessing the trait of being organized or following a systematic method of performing a task.• Working Under Pressure - ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations• Reliability - the trait of being dependable and trustworthy• Responsible - ability to be held accountable or answerable for one's conduct• Accuracy - ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly• Energetic - ability to work at a sustained pace and produce equality work• Enthusiastic - ability to bring energy to the performance of a task• Accountability - ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions• Problem Solving - ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problems• Management Skills - ability to organize and direct oneself and effectively supervise othersSkills & AbilitiesEducation: High School Education or GED requiredExperience: Previous experience in a Warehouse setting (6 months+) or Food Service setting (3 years+) required. Inventory experience strongly preferred. Supervisory experience of a team of at least 5 employees preferred.Computer Skills: Experience with Microsoft 365 products strongly preferred - Word, Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint, Teams. Experience with Crunchtime Inventory systems or similar programming strongly preferred. Must be able to operate and understand the park's point of sale and back-of-house operations of the point of sale.Certifications & Licenses: Servsafe Food Handler or Servsafe Manager preferred - Ability to successfully complete and pass Servsafe Manager course is required. Valid driver's license and current proof of insurance is required.
