Team Member/Cashier

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Team Member/Cashier, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create a welcoming environment for our customers. In this role, you will be the friendly face at the register, ensuring smooth retail transactions and delivering exceptional customer service. You’ll also assist with food and beverage preparation, maintain cleanliness standards, and support overall store operations. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service to enhance their shopping experience Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently Handle retail sales transactions including cash, credit/debit card payments, and mobile payments with precision Prepare non-alcoholic beverages and assist with food handling and basic food preparation in the café area Maintain cleanliness of the store, café, and food prep areas in accordance with food safety standards Assist customers with product inquiries, store navigation, and recommendations to boost sales Manage cash register operations including processing cash transactions and giving accurate change Support beverage service by preparing coffee, tea, and other drinks as needed during busy periods Uphold food safety protocols and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times Support team members during peak hours by assisting with serving and beverage service tasks Skills Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Strong background in retail sales transactions and cashiering with excellent math skills for cash handling Knowledge of food industry standards, including food safety, preparation, and handling procedures Previous café or barista experience is a plus, especially in coffee preparation and beverage service Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing retail math tasks Strong cleaning habits to ensure a tidy environment for customers and staff Food service experience or café background preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Embark on a rewarding journey where your positive attitude makes a difference!
