Overview
KY Plumbing (KYPD) is hiring a Scheduling / Dispatch Coordinator to manage scheduling and coordination for our new construction and multi-site projects, with some service dispatch support as needed. This role is the communication hub between our field crews, builders, superintendents/on-site project managers, and our internal team, keeping timelines tight, expectations clear, and jobs moving forward.
You’ll spend most of your day coordinating rough-ins, finals, inspections, material ordering, job readiness, and builder-driven schedule changes, mostly using our dispatch software ServiceTitan to keep everything accurate and documented.
Key Responsibilities (Builder / Construction Focus)
Build and manage daily/weekly schedules for construction crews across multiple job sites
Coordinate directly with builders, superintendents, and on-site PMs on:
start dates, phase timing (UG/rough/final), inspections, access, and sequencing
job readiness and “green light” confirmations before dispatching crews
schedule changes, delays, and rework needs
Keep projects moving by confirming:
scope notes, site readiness, access/lockbox info
materials/parts availability and ordering
inspection requirements and timelines
Communicate schedule updates clearly and professionally to builders and internal teams
Maintain clean, detailed job notes and scheduling accuracy in ServiceTitan
Track basic scheduling performance (missed appointments, schedule gaps, readiness issues, on-time completion)
Service Support (Secondary)
Assist with service dispatch during gaps, overflow, emergencies, or call-outs
Help prioritize urgent calls while protecting builder commitments and deadlines
Requirements
Required
1+ years in scheduling/dispatch/coordinator role (construction or service trades strongly preferred)
Confident phone/email/text communication, Microsoft office knowledge, able to coordinate with builders and supers
Strong organization, sense of urgency, and calm decision-making under pressure
Strong computer skills; accurate documentation/typing
Reliable attendance and team-first mindset
Preferred
CRM such as ServiceTitan, HouseCall pro etc. experience (strongly preferred; willingness to learn, research fast is required)
Experience managing multi-site builder schedules and inspections
Familiarity with plumbing phases/terminology (UG/rough/final, trims, inspections) very helpful, not required
