Job Title : Staff Product & Process Design EngineerLocations: Franklin Lakes, NJ / Covington, GADuration : 12 Plus Months SummarySeeking an experienced engineer to lead manufacturing technology strategy, product design improvements, and process development for new and existing products in a regulated manufacturing environment. The role partners with R&D and Engineering teams to optimize manufacturability, assembly processes, and product quality.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive manufacturing strategy for new products and design changesSupport product and assembly development, POC, and feasibility testingPerform DFMA, DFSS, and Assembly Tolerance Requirement (ATR) analysisEstablish KPIVs/KPOVs and implement process controlsLead pFMEA and assembly risk mitigation activitiesDevelop DFMA standards, training, and best practicesImprove assembly processes for quality, cost, and scalabilityDesign efficient manufacturing processes aligned with OEE, CapEx, and COGS goalsReview and update CAD models to meet manufacturing requirementsMentor engineering teams and provide technical leadershipRequirementsB.S. with 10+ years OR M.S. with 8+ years in manufacturing engineering, product design, or technical leadership within medical device or regulated industriesCAD and SolidWorks experienceKnowledge of DFM, DFMA, DFSS, and ATR analysisExperience with pFMEA, process development, and manufacturing optimizationStrong engineering, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
